Continued Services/Maintainence
This piece of our plan is truly what separates us from other companies. When the site is built, done, and polished, the user signs an end-agreement that signifies properties attached to an SLA. What an SLA does is set aside and guarantee maintainence service for the website, which includes minor template changes like color schemes or nav bars, code modifications, and minor updates. All websites come with a 3 month limited SLA automatically to assure quality and that nothing malfunctions within the first few months of use and testing. Then, from that point on, customers can purchase additional and extended SLA to provide maintainence to the website. While these plans do not include future redesign or modification projects, they do allow more minor pieces like color changes. All of these are set when the SLA is signed and can be discussed, but generally it works out to be 1 hour of service work a week, totalling 4 a month for $20 a month.
So why offer this service? Professional companies are all about numbers, the more people they can hire, the more jobs they can do, the more money they can make. In the end, they walk away and whether you are happy with the site or not doesn't matter, only their wallet does. However, we don't look at this that way. The sites we work on are important to the academic community and the better they are, the better their organization looks. Therefore, we take such pride in our work that we want to be sure you are satisfied with it and will do what we can to make sure it works the way you want to. We believe in making personal relationships with the people we work with, not money.
