About the Project
This project was a simple redesign in which customer wanted a new look to the site that was W3C compliant, useful, and worked within the realm of his research. Furthermore, he wanted to be able to update the site without knowledge of HTML or any language for that matter; thus we set him up with Adobe Contribute. Design is meant to be professional, yet simple, utilizing simple colors and contrasts along with smaller text and a more compressed design style. Banner is custom designed along with all images being converted to take up less space.
Site was completed within 3 months and was ready in time for the 2009-10 school year.
Features of Site
- Rotating image/slideshow on homepage showcasing recent projects. Run by a PHP script that pulls images from a directory within the server. Allows updating without code knowledge.
- Changing image on mouseover within the left-hand navigation
- E-mailed contact forms run by external PHP script
